The Ticketmaster Automation offers chat users a dynamic way to explore and purchase tickets. Directly integrated with the Ticketmaster Events feed, this automation allows users to conversationally search for specific events, browse the venue's event schedule, look up events by date, and add event tickets to a cart for purchase. Utilizing Ticketmaster’s Impact tracking, the integration captures essential data on chat conversions, providing partners with actionable analytics and a comprehensive understanding of user purchasing behaviors.
When the Ticketmaster Automation is initiated, a user is guided through the following purchase flow:
Event Search Methods: Users can search by event name, scroll through the venue's schedule, or search by specific dates or a range of dates, offering versatile entry points into the ticketing flow. The integration parses all events from a venue's feed. For recurring events, the chat will display the first instance with an option to purchase tickets, followed by subsequent dates as quick replies.
Availability Check: Before proceeding, an availability check ensures that there are tickets available for the user's selected event.
Building a Cart: When building their cart, users are guided through a two-step choice process:
Quantity Selection: Users specify the number of tickets they wish to purchase. The interface provides quick replies that adapt to the maximum ticket limit allowed per transaction.
Quality Selection: Users are then able to choose their preferred ticket quality, with options ranging from budget-friendly 'Cheap Seats' to premium 'Best Available' seating. Each choice is designed to match various budgets and preferences.
Modification Options: After selection, users get a summary of their tickets and can change the quantity or quality before finalizing their purchase.
Cart Expiration: Acknowledging Ticketmaster's ticket hold time, the checkout page informs users of the expiration, offering options to refresh the cart or start anew if necessary.
Checkout Process: The checkout page displays detailed event and ticket information, a cost breakdown, cart expiration countdown, and payment fields.
The following configurations are available for Ticketmaster.
The Venue ID is a required field for this automation and can be found using the Ticketmaster API Explorer. Full instructions on how to locate the Venue ID are available on the Ticketmaster Integrations page.
Please set your venue's time zone to align with its local time.
Partners are encouraged to provide feedback on the integration process and explore customizations that enhance user engagement. Whether adjusting the way events are displayed or optimizing search functionalities, your input is valuable in creating a seamless ticketing experience within the chat.
