Step 1: Application Setup & Storefront API Access

Please follow the below steps to create a Shopify application for ON’s chatbot experience and to enable Storefront API Access.

After you complete all below steps, you will need to share below credentials with your Customer Success Team:
API Key
API Secret Key
Storefront API access token
Admin API access token
Navigate to your settings in the bottom left hand corner
On the right-hand side, select “Apps and sales channels”
On the top, right-hand corner select “Develop apps”
Click “Allow custom app development”
Click “Allow custom app development”
Click “Create an app”
Name the app and select the developer
Select “Configure storefront API”
Configure the access scopes to allow for the following
Click “Save” to save the configuration settings
In the top Navigation, navigate to “API credentials”
Click “Install app” and confirm installation
Upon completion you will have the unique Storefront API access token alongside the API key and Secret key that you can share with your ON Team. You will need to share these credentials with your Customer Success Team:
API Key
API Secret Key
Storefront API access token
Admin API access token
