Configurations
To deploy your bot on Facebook Messenger, your social team needs to add the business entity "GameOn Technology" as an approved partner or admin to your Facebook page. This process varies slightly depending on whether your page is managed through Facebook Business Manager or as a basic public Facebook page. Follow the steps below to complete the setup.
Steps for Business Manager Users (New Facebook Pages Experience)
Add "GameOn Technology" as an Approved Partner/Admin:
Go to your Facebook Business Settings page.
In the side navigation under Accounts, click Pages.
Click on the CLIENT’S page.
Click Assign Partner.
Select by Business ID.
Enter our GameOn Business ID: <contact your CS Rep>
Set the access level to Full Control: Manage Page.
Click Next and complete the flow.
Steps for Basic Public Facebook Pages (Not Using Business Manager)
Add Our Engineering Account as an Admin:
Navigate to your Facebook page.
Go to the Settings section.
Select Page Roles from the left-hand menu.
Under Assign a New Page Role, enter the email address of our engineering account.
Choose the Admin role from the dropdown menu.
Click Add and complete the confirmation steps.
